Other Details to Note
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between: Option 1: Damage Waiver ($59) – Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1,500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$2/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company. Option 2: Security Hold ($2,500) – Temporary hold that releases after your stay. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account – it's a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay. These upgrades are optional and include: Early Check-In – $20/hr if available If you have any questions, just message us anytime! Happy to help! There is Wifi at the school house and the password for the network is posted on a chalk board near the T.V and on the refrigerator. Cell service and data is spotty in the mountains so please plan accordingly with your directions, GPS and navigation as the app may not be available when you arrive. There is however Wi-Fi once you're inside the school house but this cozy getaway is the best UNPLUGGED in our opinion. Please do NOT mess or unplug wires, hdmi cables or make any alterations to the audio visual setup. Leave all AV wires and devices as found. The outside party lights should come on automatically once it gets dark. There is a bin beside the back deck that has cots and camping chairs if you would like to use it to enjoy the camp fire and or to sleep under the stars. There is a collection of DVD's for your enjoyment. If you have a Roku or Netflix login you are welcome to use that as well. The TV is connected to the Internet. We have literally tried to think of everything, including, a hair dryer under the sink in the bathroom, iron and ironing board located in the bathroom under the shelves.
