INSECTS AND WILD ANIMALS This cabin is in a secluded wooded area, so there may be spiders, bugs, critters, and animals, especially during the warmer months. You may even encounter a bear. You can expect to see deer all year round, though. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OR TRASH OUTSIDE, as doing so will attract wild animals. WEATHER WARNING As the weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, storms or power outages are possible. We do not offer weather-related refunds outside of our cancellation policy, so you may wish to purchase trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel The drive is mostly flat; you don’t need a 4WD to get to the property. PETS POLICY 1. Dog Access Restrictions: Only one well-behaved dog is permitted at this time. The dog must be kept off all furniture in every room. We can allow two dogs on a case-by-case basis. 2. Room Restrictions: Pet gates must remain closed at all times to restrict dogs' access to specific rooms. 3. Keep the dog on a leash while outside and don’t forget to clean up after them. 4. Dogs are not allowed to enter hot tub. 5. Mountain, Elevation & Terrain Disclaimer The Property may be located in a mountainous or elevated area and may include steep slopes, uneven ground, gravel paths, stairs, wildlife, insects, and rapidly changing weather conditions. Use of outdoor areas is at Guest’s own risk, and appropriate footwear and caution are advised. 6. Deck, Balcony & Outdoor Structure Disclaimer If the Property includes decks, balconies, porches, or elevated outdoor structures, use is at Guest’s own risk. Guests should not lean on or climb railings. Children must be supervised at all times in these areas. Furniture should not be moved in a way that creates unsafe conditions. 7. Release and Indemnification Guest agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Host, and their agents from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from use of the Property, hot tub use, outdoor terrain, elevation, deck use, or supervision of minors, including claims arising from negligence of Guest or Guest’s party. 8. Damage Responsibility Guest is responsible for any damage caused by Guest or Guest’s party to the Property, furnishings, or amenities during the stay. 9. We loved our stay at Luray Oasis! Corey was very helpful and quick to respond with recommendations for the best place to find good steaks as well as things to do around town. Our oldest daughter loved the playground, watching the deer grazing in the yard and stargazing at night. We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrises peaking over the mountains as light slowly entered the numerous windows in the master bedroom. The hot tub was wonderful on cold afternoons and we really liked that it was on the deck just steps away from the master bedroom sharing similar mountain views. We hope to make another trip to Luray Oasis when the flowers and leaves are in bloom and the forest has awakened from its winter slumber. Cheers!
